16 Of The Best Adrenaline Pumping Songs

I've got quite a large backlog of things I've been meaning to add to this (along with some more articles to write and redesign of the site itself). Hopefully I'll get it all sorted in the coming days, weeks, months...

Anyway let's kick off with this blog post on 16 Of The Best Adrenaline Pumping Songs which does exactly what it says on the tin Plenty to agree with (Nirvana, Motorhead, Prodigy, Pistols) but a couple of well dodgy selections (Gloria Gaynor! Blink 182!). Nice comments.

To his I'd add my current kick-ass songs: 'Ebneezer Goode'

and the Run DMC 'It's Like That' remix

Thousand Films, Hundred Moments

A while back the Guardian published a 1000 Films To See Before You Die article... I won't be checking out all that I've not seen yet, there's Ace Ventura for a start and far too many Woody Allen films (I've already seen enough of him to last several lifetimes) However it has spurred to ad several classics I've not got around to watching to my 'must watch' list.

There's also this 100 Film Moments feature, which judging by a quick look I've already seen most of.

Dougal Wilson

I was majorly impressed by this Bat For Lashes song when it came out...

Checking out the director I see he's also done some great other work including the delirious Benny Benassi 'Satisfaction' vid

And then by a weird co-incidence a track that stuck in my head since I heard it buying a pair of trainers yesterday turns out to have an almost equally filthy video

I think its hook might actually be physically addictive...

Darth Vader in Love

I've not watch any of The Peter Serafinowicz Show, as judging from the trailers it looked rubbish. But judging by this I'll have to check it out...

Vexville

This anime looks excellent, judging from the trailers - which you can see via the film's website. I hope it turns up on DVD soon (and that the plot, characterisation, dialogue... etc are up to the visuals' high standard).

Lockdown: Gangland

Intresting, if lurid and bloody, documentary on Pelican Bay State Prison. Looks hellish to even work there never mind being an inmate. And it shows what a great job the war on drugs has been.
