Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer by hands

Santa is busted.
Winterbells - A twee but oddly addictive winter magic themed game
The ever reliable Chad Vader reaches Episode 5, a Holiday Special
Of course you can't have Christmas without Noddy...
Jona Lewie seems especially relevant this year
And The Pogues with Kirsty McColl always brings lump to my throat
Peace on Earth. Goodwill to all Men.

Starship Sofa
This a great podcast a friend has just told me about where basically two blokes just sit and start chatting about a classic science fiction author but then go off on all sorts of tangents. I find it more entertaining and refreshingly unassuming that most of the podcasts I've tried to listen to. Kinda like a rambling pub conversation, but in a good way.
If Star Wars was a silent movie
Nice piano
Chick lit
Here's latest column by another friend of mine, Floyd Kermode, on those crazy evangelical comics by Jack Chick

Ray Harryhausen's greatest hits
Great compilation of the master of stop-motion's monsters, from back before all the that CGI nonsense.

Spooky
There's a lot of ghost-type stuff on YouTube (Well there's a lot of everything on YouTube, but you get the idea). Here's a couple of interesting ones... Oh and none of them are 'screamers'. That got old very quickly. It's a ghostly voice! Woooo and not fake at all.
And here's the footage of car crash caused by a phantom hitch-hiker...
On a related note, here a trailer for a film, Altered, by one of the guys behind The Blair Witch Project. Yes, they've finally made another film. Looks good... well until the last few seconds, unfortunately.
Servers in the movies
This is possibly the most geekish thing I've ever seen on the web. 'Servers' note, not just your common or garden 'computers' here.
Moebius
Nice bit of comic art here. The script by Dan Alien O'Bannon leaves a bit to be desired but just look at those city-scapes. It's not surprised that Moebius work inspired both Gibson's Neuromancer and Ridley Scott's Bladerunner.

Atene Returns!
Incredibly that bloke from the Kubric audition tape has surfaced.
has surfaced. He's posted a new very self-deprecating video on YouTube publicising a charity. What a great guy!
INLAND EMPIRE trailer
The new David Lynch film looks about as weird as usual... hope it's a Mulholland Dr. and not a Lost Highway.
Hallucii
Nice short animated film about a drunk man trapped on a Escher-esque stairway.

Princess Diana, The Musical
Some woman in the States is selling CDs of the musical about Diana she put on. Despite all expectations this actually sounds quite professional. Which somehow, especially when you listen to the actual lyrics of the samples, makes it even worse.

Stealth Disco
Dance behind your work-mates' backs. About as silly as it gets, but somehow very amusing.
